Hi Staci,

Any printer can help you create, design and print pinups. You can use a designer for the actual design, but a printer could do it too. They're not complicated.

You can see in this link several examples of pinups that you can show your printer. Let me know how you make out!

Hi Erin,

Thanks for visiting! Any printer can make your paper icons in any shape or size or color you want. Of course, what you do changes the price a lot. Generally, you'll spend between 8 and 15 cents per icon. If you look at recent posts on my site you'll see the Boston Bruins mobile we just had created. There are other examples on my blog, just search for "mobiles" or "pin-ups" or "paper icons" because I call them all three!!

Hi! I was wondering how to go about getting paper icons to sell. If printed yourself, how can you get them shaped - ie like a ribbon? can they be ordered? and where? Thanks so much. Erin

Hi Gail, thanks for writing. I should have some info for you shortly. I'm developing a new program called "Six Figure Cause Marketing" that will take fundraisers through all the steps of creating their own point of sale program. And all of your questions are on my to-do list! Should be ready this fall. If you need advice sooner, drop me an email and I'll pass along my phone number I'll talk you through the process, okay?

Can you give me some tips or direction on:
Designing paper icons: ease of use & printing, eye catching, etc.

Getting paper Icons printed/cut

Approaching retailers, convincing them to participate.
Any follow up ideas.
Thanks very much.
