That's a great point on the travel app, Ross. I don't do a lot of travel so you definitely know better than I would. Evernote is good. Dropbox is awesome. I think someone like you would really like and benefit from it. Thanks for stopping by, buddy.

Great post Joe! Haven't used Evernote or Dropbox for a while, will definitely have to give them another go. Apps for me come down to productivity - is the app helping or hurting in this arena. I use the wordpress app pretty frequently as well as the constant contact app - both really helpful for being productive while not in my office. The other one I would add, which isn't specific to marketing/nonprofit, but that I use a lot and helps productivity is the Expedia app. It's really helpful if you travel a lot like I do and is great for eliminating all that printing of itineraries and tickets, plus, it updates immediately with gate/time changes.

I do pay for RIL. I think it's like $20 or $25 a year. But I believe there is a free version. It's very slick though and I find it very helpful. You should also look at NotifyMe 2. They recently updated it and it's very cool and slick. There is paid version for that one too, but I think it's just a few bucks.

I really like Evernote. I have some frustrations as it always doesn't work the way it is suppose to, but it's really great and has lots of uses. Have you tried Dropbox? I wish that Evernote was as slick and ran as easily as Dropbox. I'm actually looking at ways I can use Dropbox more instead of Evernote, like for pics and stuff.

Thanks for dropping by, Olivia.

Joe, do you pay for Remember the Milk? I think I should give Evernote another go. Tried it in its very early days. Thanks for the pros and usages of the these tools.

Hey Steve,

You know, I use to use Delicious a lot more. I favorite so many things on Twitter now that I do most of my reading from there. When I want to archive something I've read I send it to Evernote where I tag and folder it. In some ways I like that better because I include all sorts of media, not just articles.

Thanks for visiting.

Andrew, you should try the new saving link feature on RIL. It's very convenient. But I guess it's only great if you're like me and do a lot of reading on your phone. The digest feature on RIL looks cool to, especially if you have an iPad. Thanks for commenting.

Great list.

I've been using Instapaper instead of Read It Later. Very convenient.
