Instant Giving
Tragedy can happen in an instant. But giving can too, thanks to i'm a new initiative from Microsoft Windows Live Messenger (aka instant messaging).
For every conversation you start, i'm will donate a portion of the programs advertising revenues to an organization of your choosing.
Getting started is easy. Download the Windows Live Messenger instant messenger service. There's no charge and it's easy to download and use. Next, choose one of these charities to support: Unicef, Boys & Girls Clubs, Red Cross, National Aids Fund, MS Society, NineMillion.org, Sierra Club, StopGlobalWarming.org or Komen.
Then start talking knowing that you're supporting a great cause and that Microsoft is guaranteeing each charity a $100,000 donation.
That's a lot of money. But spread the word about i'm to enough teenagers and you should be able to easily match Microsoft's donation. And I'm not kidding.
