The Selfish Giver: I Think You Can

Note to readers: If you can see a purple elephant, it's time to cut back on the Starbucks.

But wait!  This purple elephant isn't a caffeine-induced mocha mirage concocted by your favorite barista.  It's from The Little Engine That Could, a delightful children's classic.

Selling at 5,000 Starbucks stores through the end of August, 100% of the proceeds from the book will go to Jumpstart, a Boston-based pro-literacy group.

Starbucks is also helping to promote Jumpstart's Read for the Record on August 24th.
