One of the things I really like about AI tools such as ChatGPT is its emphasis on answers over results.

When I type a question into Google, I get a bunch of articles I then have to read through. 😵‍💫 But when I type a question into ChatGPT, I get the answer to my question!

A benefit of ChatGPT is I can ask it to limit its search for answers to the content published on Selfish Giving.

Remember, I've been blogging on my site since 2005 - yep, nearly 20 years! - so I have A LOT of content to pull from.

For example, I entered the following prompt into ChatGPT:

Searching only Selfishgiving.com, what is the author's opinion of the Engage for Good Conference (previously known as the Cause Marketing Forum Conference)?

The answer I got back:

The author of Selfish Giving expresses a very positive opinion of the Engage for Good Conference, previously known as the Cause Marketing Forum Conference. He shows a keen enthusiasm for attending the conference, highlighting it as a valuable experience for learning, inspiration, and networking within the cause marketing community.

In a 2023 newsletter, the author expressed excitement about returning to the Engage for Good Conference, mentioning that previous conferences had to be attended virtually due to scheduling conflicts. This eagerness to return indicates a strong affinity for the event and its community.

In a post from 2010, the author listed several reasons why attending the Cause Marketing Forum Conference (now Engage for Good) was beneficial. He praised the blend of education and networking opportunities, the sense of community among cause marketers, and the informative workshops and sessions. The author also enjoyed the conference's focus on social media and its role in cause marketing.

Another post from 2016 recapped the Cause Marketing Forum Conference, describing it as "excellent and full of learning, inspiration, and friendship." He congratulated the organizers for an outstanding event and encouraged others to attend future conferences.

Furthermore, the author's involvement as a speaker at the Cause Marketing Forum for many years, consistently receiving high ratings from attendees, underscores his commitment and positive stance towards the conference.

Overall, the author views the Engage for Good Conference as an essential event for those involved in cause marketing, offering significant opportunities for professional development, networking, and staying abreast of industry trends and practices.

ChatGPT accurately captured my opinion of the EFG Conference. The conference is great and always has been!

🚨Early-bird pricing for the EFG conference ends February 15th!

So whenever you have a question about corporate partnerships, you can ask ChatGPT to search my site for answers.

Here are five prompts to get you started! Remember, you can adjust these to fit your own specific purposes.

1. Search posts in the "Partnership Notes" section at www.selfishgiving.com/blog and select ten articles for me to read that discuss prospecting.

2. Searching only Selfishgiving.com, what is the author's advice for writing compelling case studies?

3. Searching only Selfishgiving.com, what is the author's advice for small nonprofits that want to launch their first cause marketing program?

4. Searching only Selfishgiving.com, what are some examples of cause marketing involving restaurants?

5. Searching only Selfishgiving.com, what are some examples the author gives for bad cause marketing, and what can we learn from these examples so we don't make the same mistakes?

Let me know how if this works for you. I use the paid version of ChatGPT, but I'm pretty sure you'll get the same answers using the free version.

BTW, I think the paid version is a bargain at $20 per month. Once you start using it, you won't stop!

Don't hesitate to contact me if you don't get the results you are looking for. We could both learn a few things about crafting the right prompt for ChatGPT!

Remember, I recommend prioritizing building an audience via email first. You'll own the list and won't be building your brand on rented land. However, I frequently suggest Email +1 social media site. Maybe your +1 should be Tiktok!

3. Speaking of email, my main man, Ephraim Gopin, highlights ten mistakes nonprofits make with their newsletters - and how to fix them. I'm really enjoying his free daily email on email, Email 366. (Try saying that sentence fast five times!)
